Biophilica was founded in 2019. We are a talented, multidisciplinary team. Our 300 m2 facility is located in Earlsfield in Southwest London, where we have set up our batch production and demo line.

Biophilica’s first product is Treekind® - a plastic-free leather alternative, which is free of PU, in comparison to many other leather alternatives. It is made with lignocellulosic feedstocks from urban parks and gardens and inedible agricultural feedstock. It is compostable and non-toxic. We have followed this with our 100% biobased adhesive.
